The role available is a full-time opportunity within the bakery department as a Pastry Cook or Pastry Assistant. This position is vital in ensuring the highest quality production of various pastries, rolls, and baked goods. The successful candidate will work closely under the guidance of the Pastry Chef but must demonstrate the ability to perform independently with little to no supervision. Responsibilities include following production lists meticulously, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the bakery according to company standards, and supporting quality control measures consistently. This role also requires cross-training across multiple bakery outlets to ensure phenomenal consistency in product quality and delivery. Ideal candidates possess excellent time management skills coupled with comprehensive knowledge of culinary techniques and equipment maintenance. They should be adept at preparing pastries and baked goods, assisting with new menu execution, and capable of actively participating in banquet preparations when the Pastry Chef is unavailable.
