The Custodian/Housekeeper position at ASM Global is a part-time, on-call role within the Operations department and reports directly to the Operations Supervisor. This role is Hourly and Non-Exempt, offering a flexible work schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. As a custodian/housekeeper, the individual will perform routine cleaning tasks to maintain the cleanliness and safety of the facility buildings under general supervision. The responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, washing and waxing floors, cleaning restrooms and replenishing supplies, as well as assisting with event clean-up before and after scheduled functions. The custodian plays a critical role in ensuring that all public and private areas of the facility are hygienic and visually appealing, contributing significantly to the overall customer experience. The work requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and tolerance of occasionally harsh physical conditions such as extreme temperatures, dust, and chemical odors. Physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing, and repetitive motion activities. This role requires the use, care, and storage of cleaning machines and supplies, requiring organization and safety consciousness. Prior experience in a similar facility setting is preferred, and the position values candidates who have a high school diploma or GED. This job is ideal for individuals who are reliable, self-motivated, and able to work efficiently under minimal supervision. The custodian/housekeeper will help ensure that ASM Global venues remain a clean, safe, and pleasant environment for guests, staff, and event participants alike.
