The individual in this position works closely with the Store Manager to execute business goals, priorities, and strategic action plans while effectively communicating shift-related issues to ensure rapid resolution and optimal store performance. Shift Leaders demonstrate exceptional leadership both when the Store Manager is present and in their absence, acting as an extension of management with responsibilities that include coaching and developing other shift leaders to uphold Nekter Juice Bar’s high standards, policies, and procedures consistently. This role is not only about operational oversight but also about cultivating a positive employee experience and ensuring that each team member feels valued and part of the larger organizational mission. In addition, Shift Leaders assist with hiring and retaining customer-oriented employees, ensuring ongoing compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations, and managing store financial goals. Their duties encompass overseeing cleanliness and food handling processes to maintain a safe and sanitary environment, ensuring proper food preparation and presentation, and conducting routine quality checks. They also handle important administrative tasks such as writing employee schedules in the absence of a General Manager, maintaining financial logs, tracking invoices, and placing supply orders. This position demands a proactive and hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating excellent communication, critical thinking, multitasking skills, and attention to detail. • At least 6 months to a year of progressively responsible experience with personal accomplishments in restaurant or retail operations or Nekter experience as a Shift Leader
