The position available is for an Associate in Warehouse & Distribution Operations, categorized under Para-Professional & Support Path. This role involves supporting efficient warehouse and distribution center operations through various clerical tasks, inventory management, and shipment coordination. As an Associate, Warehouse & Distribution Operations, you will be responsible for performing business support and clerical tasks that enhance the efficiency of warehouse and distribution centers. Your duties will include assisting in optimizing storage space and material flow to maintain safety and efficiency. You will support inbound and outbound logistics activities, including managing inventory and coordinating shipments to ensure smooth operations. Maintaining accurate records and documentation is a key part of the role, along with following established procedures under limited decision-making authority. Compliance with Good Practice (GxP) regulations is essential in this position. You will be expected to strictly follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure rigorous quality control, maintaining high standards in all aspects of your work. Completing all required training and meeting individual job requirements contribute to overall organizational compliance. Your commitment to continuous improvement and adherence to regulatory requirements will help maintain Alcon's reputation for excellence and reliability. This position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and fluency in English for reading, writing, and communication. The work schedule is the 2nd shift, Monday through Friday, from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM CST. There are no travel requirements, relocation assistance, or sponsorship available for this role. Preferred candidates will have prior distribution center experience.
