As the manager responsible for two major functions of the hotel, the successful candidate will engage in comprehensive operational management including the development and implementation of budgets, marketing plans, forecasts, and policies. This position requires constant collaboration with human resources, security, maintenance, and other departments to ensure compliance with standards and regulations that guarantee customer satisfaction and safety. Critical responsibilities include resolving customer complaints, managing emergency procedures, promoting accident prevention, and maintaining the maintenance and sanitation standards of the property both front and back of house. Acting as the general manager in their absence also underscores the leadership demanded by this position. The ideal candidate must demonstrate advanced knowledge of hospitality and business management, and the ability to analyze complex activities to refine practices or create new approaches, along with superb communication and negotiation skills for interaction with stakeholders at all levels.
