About Republic Airways: Republic Airways is a leading regional airline in North America, operating a 'state-of-the-art' fleet of Embraer E-170 and E-175 aircraft. We are proud partners with Delta Air Lines, American Airlines, and United Airlines, flying as Delta Connection, American Eagle, and United Express. This 'unique, diversified' model provides unparalleled stability and growth opportunities. We are seeking positive, adaptable, and safety-focused individuals to join our team as 'Entry Level' Flight Attendants. 'No experience' is required. Our world-class, paid training program, located at our headquarters in Indianapolis, IN (IND), will provide you with all the skills needed to become an FAA-certified aviation professional. This is a career that takes you places, both literally and professionally. Your New Career – The Role: As a Republic Airways Flight Attendant, you are the sole safety and service professional on our spacious Embraer E-Jet aircraft. Your primary mission is to ensure the safety and security of our passengers while delivering a 'world-class' service experience that represents our mainline partners' brands (Delta, American, or United). This role requires a unique blend of professionalism, empathy, and authority. You will handle everything from pre-flight safety checks to in-flight service and managing any emergencies that may arise. This is a 24/7 operation, and you must be flexible to work 'day shift', 'night shift', 'weekend shift' schedules, holidays, and 'on-call' reserve periods. The Training – Your Foundation for Success: Your career launches with our intensive, 4-week, paid training program at our corporate headquarters in Indianapolis. This program is renowned for its quality and prepares you for every aspect of the job, even with 'no experience'. * 'Aircraft Systems & Safety:' You will become an expert on the Embraer E-170/175, learning its systems, doors, galleys, and emergency equipment inside and out. * 'Emergency Procedures:' You will train in our full-motion cabin simulators for realistic, hands-on drills for evacuations, fires, and depressurization scenarios. * 'Medical Response:' You will be certified in First Aid, CPR, and AED use, preparing you to be a confident 'first responder' in the air. * 'Multi-Brand Service:' A unique part of our training involves learning the distinct service standards for 'Delta Connection', 'American Eagle', and 'United Express'. You will learn to deliver the specific beverage, snack, and First Class services for each partner. * 'Passenger Care:' You will learn strategies for 'conflict resolution', assisting passengers with disabilities, and managing a wide range of customer needs. Graduation from this program is challenging but rewards you with your FAA Certificate of Demonstrated Proficiency and your wings. A Day in the Life – What to Expect: Your day is structured, fast-paced, and never boring. * 'Pre-Flight:' You'll report to your assigned crew base (e.g., IND, BOS, EWR, DCA) for check-in. You'll meet your flight crew for a briefing on the day's flights, weather, and passenger details. You'll board the E-Jet to conduct meticulous pre-flight checks of your safety equipment, galley, and cabin cleanliness. * 'Boarding:' You'll welcome passengers, make professional announcements, assist with baggage in the 'overhead bins', and ensure all passengers are seated and secure for takeoff. You will also prepare and serve pre-departure beverages for the 'First Class' cabin. * 'In-Flight:' After takeoff, you will conduct safety checks and then begin the in-flight service, tailored to the specific 'mainline partner' you are flying for on that leg. You will be the sole provider of service and safety in the cabin, requiring confidence and 'independent work' skills. * 'Post-Flight:' After landing, you'll bid farewell to passengers, conduct a cabin sweep, and prepare for your next flight or 'layover'. Your day might be a 'turn' (out and back) or a '4-day trip' where you stay in different cities each night in a company-paid hotel. The Lifestyle – Schedule & Flexibility: As a new 'entry-level' Flight Attendant, you will start on 'reserve'. This 'on-call' schedule requires you to be based in your assigned city, available to be called for a trip with short notice. You must be ableto report to the airport within a '2-hour' window. Your schedule will be a mix of 'day shift' and 'night shift' flying, and you will work 'weekends' and holidays. This lifestyle is demanding but offers incredible flexibility, with many days off in a row between trips. Why Republic? Republic Airways offers a 'stable career' with a diverse flying portfolio for three of the world's largest airlines. We fly a 'single, modern fleet' of E-Jets, making your job streamlined. We offer competitive pay, a 'sign-on bonus', and a comprehensive benefits package. Our travel privileges are unmatched, giving you access to the global networks of Delta, American, and United. We have a 'people-first' culture and provide clear 'career advancement' opportunities.
