Reporting to Banquet Supervisors, this role involves the friendly, courteous, and timely delivery and serving of food and beverage items to catering clientele. The position demands exceptional attention to detail, excellent interpersonal skills, and a guest-focused attitude to ensure every client interaction results in maximum satisfaction. The Catering-Banquet Server is also responsible for setting tables according to function specifications and making sure all equipment and beverage supplies are transported efficiently from storage to event venues. This position requires not only physical endurance—such as the ability to lift and transport items up to 50 pounds and perform continuous reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling—but also a solid foundation in food and beverage service standards, guest relations, and etiquette. Servers must handle the delicate task of serving with precision and care, quietly clearing tables without disturbing guests, and maintaining cleanliness and organization in work areas. Attention to health and safety standards is vital, with general cleaning tasks forming part of the daily duties alongside other responsibilities assigned by the Catering Supervisor.
