Required travel within an assigned area involves setting up and transporting sampling materials such as folding tables, utensils, and platters. This position requires the use of a personal internet-enabled cell phone and transportation to move between retail locations. This position is housed within the Hawaiian Island Provisions department, underlining a strong local presence and connection to the community it serves. • High school diploma or equivalent
• three months of experience in a customer service or similar role
• basic computer skills
• experience with food preparation is helpful but not required
• keep work area neat and clean
• exhibit good food safety and sanitation practices at all times
• ability to operate a slicer (will provide training)
• must have own transportation and be willing to travel to different retail locations within assigned area
• ability to transport and set up a folding table, utensils, platters, etc.
