Air China, the flag carrier of the People's Republic of China, is seeking fluent Mandarin and English-speaking Flight Attendants for our New York (JFK) base. This is a critical role on our US-China routes, ensuring seamless communication and superior service for our global passengers. Core Responsibilities: In addition to all standard safety and emergency duties, you will be the primary language specialist on board. You will make bilingual (Mandarin/English) announcements, assist passengers with translation, and provide a warm, culturally-aware service that embodies our brand's hospitality. Qualifications & Requirements: This is not an entry-level position; language proficiency is key. Applicants must be at least 21, have the legal right to work in the US, and hold a valid passport. Fluency in both English and Mandarin (reading, writing, speaking) is mandatory and will be verified by a language proficiency test. 1+ year of customer service experience is required. Training & Work Schedule: This position begins with our comprehensive paid training in Beijing, China. This role requires full flexibility for a variable international roster, which includes long-haul flights, extended layovers, and the ability to work any 'day time' or 'night shift' schedule, including 'weekend shift' and holiday assignments. Compensation & Benefits: This role offers a competitive salary, with an estimated annual base from $42,000 to $65,000, plus a language pay differential.
