Currently, Lyon Living is hiring for the position of Porter - Groundskeeper at Basecamp at RED, located in Reno, NV. This is an on-site, hourly role with a pay range of $19.00 to $22.00 per hour. Although on-site housing is not offered for this role, valuable employee housing discounts are available as part of the benefits package. The Porter - Groundskeeper position is vital to maintaining the property's overall appearance and cleanliness, directly contributing to resident satisfaction and the company’s high living standards. This role includes performing various cleaning and janitorial duties related to both interior and exterior property maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. Key responsibilities include maintaining the cleanliness of common areas such as clubhouses, recreation rooms, fitness centers, and offices, along with maintaining the property’s central trash removal systems. The Groundskeeper will ensure tools and equipment are well-maintained and in good working order to facilitate smooth operations. Basic housekeeping tasks aimed at preparing apartments for new occupancy are also an essential part of this role. Safety is a critical aspect of the position, with requirements to attend monthly safety meetings, complete accurate work records, and handle chemicals, cleaning products, and hazardous materials appropriately. The Groundskeeper will also be responsible for assisting with snow removal when necessary and ensuring that work, supply carts, and storage areas remain neat and organized. The position requires a flexible schedule, including availability on weekends and the possibility of overtime hours. Candidates must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license or an alternative means that enables timely travel to required locations. Employees who drive their own vehicles for work duties must provide proof of insurance and may be subject to a DMV records check.
