As a General Manager at Aimbridge Hospitality, you will play a critical leadership role responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of your assigned hotel property. This full-time position focuses on ensuring optimal financial performance by maximizing revenue streams and controlling operational expenses effectively. The General Manager is tasked with maintaining high-quality service levels, guaranteeing that guest expectations are met or exceeded through attentive customer service and proactive problem resolution. The role also includes ensuring compliance with all hotel regulations and industry standards, maintaining rigorous operational and safety protocols.
This dynamic position requires a strong strategic and hands-on leadership style, encompassing sales and marketing initiatives, budget planning, and team development. You will lead the development and execution of sales plans to drive business growth and actively engage with key accounts and potential clients. Proficiency in utilizing management systems such as Windows operating systems, spreadsheets, and word processing tools will be essential to streamline reporting and improve decision-making processes. Moreover, you will be responsible for mentoring, coaching, and motivating your management team and associates to build a positive, guest-focused work environment.
Success in this role will be measured by your ability to forecast accurately, drive profitability, enhance guest satisfaction scores (GSS), and demonstrate strong financial acumen from topline to bottomline performance. - at least 6 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field or a 4-year college degree with 4 to 5 years of related experience or a 2-year college degree with 5 to 6 years of related experience
- valid driver’s license for the applicable state
