This particular role is for a store maintenance associate at the HomeGoods Store located at 10788 Foothill Blvd, Rancho Cucamonga, CA. The position involves maintaining a clean and organized store environment with an emphasis on floor care. This includes operating cleaning equipment such as scrubbers and buffers, as well as performing dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and spot cleaning of glass and windows. This role adheres strictly to operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards to ensure the store environment supports the best customer experience possible. The store maintenance associate is also cross-trained to work in various store areas, such as the sales floor, front end, and backroom, providing flexibility and comprehensive support to the store’s operational needs. Key responsibilities encompass role modeling customer experience best practices, supporting a positive store culture grounded in honesty, integrity, and respect, and maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout all store zones including associatelounges and restrooms. There is also a strong focus on health and safety compliance, including the upkeep of essential items in restrooms and lounges. In this role, associates actively participate in maintaining operational standards, merchandising philosophy and signage, and loss prevention efforts such as shrink reduction. Effective communication with management and peers is essential to ensure a safe, efficient, and welcoming store environment. • High school diploma or equivalent
