The restaurant is currently seeking a Manager to oversee daily Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) operations. This leadership position requires a dynamic individual capable of guiding staff, managing restaurant presentation and operations, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences. Working with limited supervision, the Manager will provide professional leadership and clear direction to team members, uphold high standards of food quality, safety, and sanitation, and respond proactively to guest feedback to reinforce the brand’s reputation. The role is full-time and offers a compensation range of $55,000 to $75,000 annually, with eligibility for performance bonuses based on business results. This position requires a flexible work schedule, since managing restaurant operations often involves varied and extended hours to cover peak times and special events. Outback Steakhouse prioritizes employee development by encouraging Managers to actively participate in the career growth of their team members, fostering both individual and organizational success.
Key responsibilities include assisting with hiring processes such as recruiting and interviewing, controlling labor costs through effective scheduling, ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation regulations, implementing security protocols, maintaining a clean and appealing restaurant environment, and actively engaging in local market and community initiatives to build brand presence. A Manager must have a working knowledge of the entire menu and preparation standards, set a high service standard through leadership, and cultivate loyalty among guests by responding to their comments thoughtfully. The ideal candidate will bring at least one year of restaurant management experience, a deep commitment to providing an outstanding guest experience, and the ability to lead by example.
