Unifi is currently seeking motivated individuals to join their team as Ramp Team Leaders. This role is pivotal within the company’s ground operations, responsible for overseeing ramp service activities which include marshaling aircraft in and out of gates, managing baggage handling, and ensuring the safe operation of ramp equipment. The Ramp Team Leader will also coordinate the cleaning and restocking of aircraft, conduct safety inspections, carry out hazard checks, and perform essential tasks such as de-icing when required. This full-time position typically requires a minimum of 30 hours per week, offering weekly pay for hourly employees (bi-weekly for California employees) along with a comprehensive benefits package.
The Ramp Team Leader will lead a team of agents, providing guidance and ensuring that all operations comply with regulatory requirements, company policies, and safety standards. This position demands strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and often challenging work environment, including rotating shifts that may include nights, weekends, and holidays. Candidates must be physically capable of handling demanding tasks such as lifting heavy loads, operating various types of ramp equipment like belt loaders, bag tugs, and tow tractors, and managing the logistics of loading and unloading aircraft cargo.

                - High school diploma, GED or equivalent education
 - must be at least 18 years of age
 - must be able to obtain credentials required as per airport or state or customs requirements
 - possess a valid driver’s license
 - able to frequently lift greater than 70lbs and constantly lift up to 70 lbs
 - able to constantly push and pull up to 70 lbs
 - able to constantly walk, stand, reach above shoulder, climb, crawl, stoop, squat, kneel and bend
 - able to work rotating shifts and hours including nights, weekends and holidays, overtime
 - able and open to work in outside weather conditions including severe seasonal elements
