The role of Receptionist (Outpatient Services Support Specialist) at EMPACT-SPC is a vital frontline position within the outpatient behavioral health setting. This role demands an outgoing, dependable, detail-oriented, and resourceful professional who can represent the agency with professionalism and genuine care. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple responsibilities including answering a multi-line phone system, scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and performing other clerical functions essential to the smooth operation of the clinic. This role is crucial in maintaining positive client experiences and ensuring the clinic functions efficiently.
Working at EMPACT-SPC requires the ability to remain calm under pressure, especially during crisis situations, and to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. The Receptionist must uphold professional conduct consistent with ethical practices and agency policies, maintaining confidentiality at all times in accordance with HIPAA regulations. This position is scheduled Monday through Thursday from 11 am to 8 pm, and Friday from 9 am to 6 pm, and involves supporting both internal team members and external clients and stakeholders. - Must have a minimum of a high school education diploma or GED
- two years of related experience required

- knowledge of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act and maintaining confidentiality of protected health information
- must have a fingerprint clearance card or be eligible to obtain one
- if driving on agency time, valid Arizona driver’s license and appropriate liability insurance required
- staff providing support services must be at least 18 years old
