The Team Member Cross Trained Cook plays a pivotal role in The Flame Broiler's operations, functioning as a versatile and integral member of both the front of house (FOH) and back of house (BOH) teams. This position requires the individual to uphold the company’s values, culture, and operational standards while ensuring the seamless execution of food preparation and customer service. Reporting directly to the General Manager and Assistant General Manager, the Cross Trained Cook is tasked with not only cooking and prepping food according to the brand's specifications but also managing customer interactions and ensuring an exceptional guest experience. This dual responsibility fosters a dynamic work environment where multitasking and effective communication are critical. The role involves preparing proteins, rice, and vegetables in line with the company approved standards, alongside maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas. Additionally, the individual will be adept at using the POS system to ensure accurate order transactions and expedient meal delivery. Training and mentoring responsibilities are also part of the position, as this role supports the development of newer team members, enforcing company policies, and promoting a safe and injury-free workplace.
